My dear Mr Cap, I think I have rubbed you the wrong way before but I would like you to consider a new hypothesis. This is freeze altitude vs terrestrial as the best indicator of global cooling.
When you look at the model runs, the western US mountains, the Alps, the Himalayan mountains and others have snow cover and additional snow coming. That would indicate a lowering of the freeze altitude.
Lowering the freeze altitude means a heavier Column of air sitting on the warm air layer that we live in.
I’m worried that a lower freeze line creating a heavier atmosphere could keep us warm and cozy until we just get totally engulfed in cold freezing weather.
Most planes have thermometers. Freeze altitude raising and lowering might be a better indicator of an approaching cool down then a terrestrial
indicator in fools gold locations like fight at the surface.
A charting of freeze altitude could be developed using info from commercial and military A/C.
