So as the Sun quietens, two consequences point in the same direction: More cosmic ray radiation, and more cloud-seeding particles reaching the atmosphere.
As an ordinary guy living here and there, I did not need scientists to tell me that a blanket of clouds blocked solar heat in the daytime and prevented ground-level heat from escaping upward at night.
But, as we have learned, not all scientists are competent assayers of fact.
My understanding is high clouds block incoming during daytime whilst low clouds trap energy (heat) during daytime as well. My original source was Dr William Happer.
I am happy if somebody has evidence to suggest otherwise.
Moffin- Are you still speaking to me?
Yoohoo! Moffin!
Anecdotal evidence.
I talked to my cousin in Las Vegas and she said the last year there has been unusually warm and the summer season unusually long. Same pattern we have experienced in Missouri.
