How severe will that minimum be?
Ask Valentina V. Zharkova.
She states 6-10% colder then the Little Ice Age & the Maunder Minimum.

A 2.5% increase in cloud cover provides enough cooling to start an ice age. Cloud cover decreased between 1980 and now, so there was a little warming. With the sun going quiet, more galactic cosmic rays (GCR’s) will reach Earth in the coming 5 years. Expect a cloud cover increase.

In the top half of 2026, N Hemisphere lower than normal temps hung on thru spring into summer.
Now, still in the summer 2026 months, Russian Siberia and our own mountain NW are flirting with freezing temps.
Looks like trend to me.
