The paper's press release sold it as a "triple whammy of climate chaos." There is one problem. The ice had already rebounded.

Official data show Greenland’s losses have been trending lower for years — the exact opposite of the one-way acceleration script still sold by the Climate Establishment.

The paper’s finding is hard to spin: from 1980 to 2023, the western North Pacific shows declining cyclone activity. This is not the "catastrophe story" sold to the public.

There is a clear shift underway inside the 'climate establishment', and many of the true believers are starting to look around and wonder why the script is changing.

The ocean tends to bury and bank heat during La Niña, then brings much of it back to the surface and releases it during El Niño. Calling that release “a fingerprint of cLiMaTe ChAnGe” is not science.
