The climate alarmists are loving Western Europe’s current warmer than average temperatures. The French meteorological service has declared that yesterday was the warmest day ever in France. This is based on data from just 30 weather stations, I’d bet on at least 20 of them being WMO class 4 and 5 junk sites at airports, in city centres etc.
In the UK the Met Office initially forecast 40C and issued a red, danger to life, warning. The latest forecasts for London are predicting 35C i.e. temperatures that probably occur in 2 out of every 3 summers but have kept the danger to life warning. I’m sure they’ll find at least one weather station, quite possibly Heathrow airport or Kew gardens, there’s several massive greenhouses that periodically vent hot air, that will reach 36-37C so they can claim it’s a new all time record high for June.
The last time the msm claimed hottest ever day a few years ago they said it was in a village. That village just happens to have a massive us airbase. Yes they sneakily measured it on the runway, but they didn’t say that in their headlines. If they didn’t make it up completely, who is trusting a US air force weather station??
The next 48 hours will show whether this is the first properly live sunspot region in months, or another oversized dud.
