Greenland: SMB vs Total mass balance. I see the difference. Perhaps the surface balance remains positive or neutral, while the total balance registers negative.
Watching some of these events quarterly or even yearly is akin to watching paint dry. You know something is happening but the rate of change is not so evident.

I think I am about 13.5 cents per kwh. I remember being unhappy when the TVA decommissioned some of their coal fired plants a few years ago.
Same here. Tri County Electric for me. Hopefully they will build NEW Coal fired plants and put Kentuckian coal miners back to work.

I saw online the Sun expends 3 million tons of fuel per second, I think it was. AI said, basically, not to worry, when the Sun goes nova in a few billion years it will have used an addt’l 0.3% of it’s fuel.
It must be some ratio of mass vs density that makes it eventually go into drastic changes.
