Greenland SMB: The latest visual update indicates another jog up, keeping the balance positive, above the zero line. Yesterday’s posting said “the accumulated 2025-26 total sits near 600 Gt.”
Also yesterday, the 20-year graph indicates the yearly SM balance is always to the negative, though the comparison has been trending in the direction of more gain and less loss. I assume the 25-26 numbers will eventually return to reporting another year of more loss than gain but we shall see…
