Be sure you carefully follow the instructions of the physiotherapist and don’t be tempted to jump back into activity before your knee is completely healed. I’ve been struggling with knee problems for 10+years and there are times I can barely walk. Trust me, you do not want chronic knee problems.

Teaching intro chemistry last decade it was obvious to me majority of high school graduated students were in no way prepared for the rigors of that class at the community college level. They couldn’t do math, critical thinking or studying. Hard to pass chemistry class without those skills and there were those who didn’t. However, high school students from accelerated high school courses enrolled in one of my intro chemistry classes did exceptionally well and were a great pleasure to teach. Guess AP type courses did prepare the students, whereas regular type classes did not prepare the students to succeed.

I read on CNN that the flash flood at China crossing was caused by climate change.
The cause is most probably a landslide falling into a glacial lake, the resulting wave blowing out the dam face.

Yep. TV called it an earthquake dislodging the ice dam, pretty much the same thing, one way or another.
The chunk hitting the river was the ‘quake’.
It is now claimed there was a landslide that blocked a river, the ice dam created by the landslide melted which released the torrent.
An ice dam would be caused by an avalanche. A landslide ablates but does not melt.

The chunk of Glacier hitting the river 3000 feet down caused that.
There’s been a massive mudslide in Nepal, sadly about 400 people are known to of died and this figure will probably increase, no doubt this will be blamed on climate change. Monsoon rains might of been heavier than average this year but are almost certain to be within historical year to year variation. Too much development in the wrong place could well be a factor, obviously none of this will be mentioned by the climate change fanatics.

It was a chunk of glacier 2000 feet wide by who knows how tall falling…3000 FEET into the river below! Like a small atom bomb hitting. Caused a 4.4 reading on the river.
