What has become abnormal is the insistence that every climatic fluctuation is proof of a crisis, that every crisis requires intervention, and every intervention must flow through the same institutions whose standards and objectivity are demonstrably declining.
This latest long-range winter outlook is the coldest on record for the U.S., echoing the brutal winter of 2009-10.
If models cannot reproduce where that heat has actually gone since 1950, their catastrophe outputs deserves far less attention than politicians, activists and media outlets give them.

After running between 10F and 20F below normal from April 1 to May 15 in the FINGER LAKES region of New York, went from high of 48F (average 72-74F) May 15 to high of 92F three days later. Now at 8AM May 20 it is 75F and by 5PM will be in the 58-59F. whiplash is hitting hard. Cold and rainy seems forever but only news is the 3 day hot spell
