We have heavy snows heading for Colorado with 18 to 24″ expected there thru Wednesday, including Denver up to 8 inches. Freeze watches and warnings into the Plains and eventually further east. This plus more very cold air and snow for Alaska thru the third week of May is more evidence of significant climatic cooling since 2005 over land and globally since 2017. The rate of cooling will continue to accelerate for decades to come along with record breaking snows. Crop losses will be staggering.

Cyclical events will happen. Why would eastern Europe,I live in England, be having a severe cold spell at present in May?If global warming was happening a cold May would be a thing of the past.
As Earth moves into the later part of the decade into 2030s the cold climate will be noticeable. As you are seeing.Shorter seasons for growing and frost dangers.Ask the French winegrowers over past few years.

HELP. Last night I get call from my grandson, Papa, ” how hot is it going to get from global warming ?” This is the fear factor from his teacher. My first answer didn’t leave my mouth, so I tried to explain the facts that its not really happening but need to find info to give him. Third grade but he is doing middle school work so not some basic information but a little more detailed. Also I have degree in Environmental Science so need something that I don’t confuse him with all my vast knowledge (JOKE).

Lower British Columbia is in a serious drought situation and the Vancouver Regional District has imposed Stage 2 watering restrictions on May 01 with Stage 3 expected on June 01. Having read books where a huge solar pulse sequence has killed all delicate electronics – which is pretty much everything these days, I really want that scenario to remain in the realm of fiction.
If it’s a halfway sort of happening, some things like really old cars will run and electrical equipment w/o circuit boards may work. Assuming there is still electricity generation and transmission functioning.
My auto, phone, TV, computer, fridge? Lifeless, likely.
