Came cross this graphic, yesterday, showing rainfall across England for the last 12 months.. Yes it was dry the last couple of months, but the LTA from Aug 2025 to Jul 2026 is saying, “Nothing to see here!”

River flows smooth out the excesses. There is always a record being broken and the next similar rain event the broken record may be thirty miles away, sometimes same catchment
